I’m reblogging this because it is INCORRECT! Kim Schmitz hasn’t even been tried yet. There’s no mention that I can find of 50 years even being a possible sentence. And he’s being charged with a lot more than just “sharing digital archives.” He’s facing copyright breaches, money laundering, having weapons in his home, etc. Now I’m not saying that sentences for rape and murder aren’t ridiculously short, because they are! But this picture is absolute bullshit and people need to get their facts straight.
AHH I’m reblogging this here because I have the most followers on this blog. I keep seeing this picture and people freaking over the “injustice of America, how disgusting.” But there’s a fatal flaw, I’m glad someone explained! Please reblog so people know this isn’t true.
